I had recently lost my car keys and of course did not have a spare. I called a few places before finding Chicago Locksmith. Once I had got ahold of them they had sent out a gentleman named Robert the next morning. He was a super friendly, efficient, and got the job done in less than thirty minutes. They are definitely the most reasonable,prompt and courteous locksmith by far. I recommend anyone that has any key problems to definitely use them. Robert you are the man!!

David came out to assist me with a broken mailbox and a front door bolt that was outta whack. David was super punctual, professional and very quick with his repairs. I will also say, Chicago Locksmith was very conscientious of their employees safety during this time of COVID-19; the scheduling operator asked me several questions regarding my health to assess risk and ensure their locksmiths are not unnecessarily exposed went sent out on calls. David also wore a mask and gloves throughout the time that he assisted me in repairing my locks.

When I tell you I’ve gotten this door replaced two times within the last month I was sick and tired. One phone call to Chicago Locksmiths and Javier was out there the next day right on time as promised. Javier was so understanding to my frustration and even offered a discount. The service was so good I said no to the discount and tipped him. Now my business door is safe and sturdy.

Amazing, fast service! Robert was prompt, courteous and professional. He assessed the problem with my car key and performed the repair efficiently and accurately. The prices were fair, and I was thankful for their 2nd key offer (because our other key was non-functional, as well, and now we have two working keys). If I ever encounter and key or lock issues in the future I will definitely call Chicago Locksmiths.

David arrived to my apartment within 20 minutes of being dispatched. He worked on my door for several hours and was incredibly professional. The lock was not your typical lock and David had to try several different approaches to get it open. He was always polite and accommodating and never got frustrated. He utilized outside resources as necessary to get the job done. His primary concern was getting me and my puppy into our home and frequently kept me informed as to what was going on. He made bearable what otherwise could have been a miserable experience. I cannot thank or say enough great things about David.

This is the 3rd time I've been using Chicago Locksmiths. This time I called them to change the locks at my parents new house, as always they arrived onsite 5 minutes before the appointment time and got the job done quick and the tech was able to change all locks so they work with only 1 key! I went all around the city to 2 different hardware stores to have a key made. I didn’t realize it was a speciality key and it wasn’t available at most commercial places. Nathan was very knowledgeable, punctual, clean, and professional. He called me with an ETA only five minutes after calling the main number and was here to get us back into our condo within 15 minutes of that call. I needed a new car key made from scratch. After calling the office and giving some details, I received a call from a locksmith, Robert, about 15 minutes later. He was on another job so we coordinated a time to meet at my car and was there about an hour later. Making a two new keys only took Robert about 20 minutes. I expected it to cost an arm and a leg and it wasn't cheap, but it was as expensive as I thought it would be.

Highly recommend! I used Chicago Locksmiths when I lost my car keys. The agent I initially spoke with was pleasant and helpful and connected me with Robert, who was at my place within a half-hour on a Sunday, took some information from me, and thirty minutes later, I had new keys. He gave me a good rate on a spare key as well, so it's worth asking about it if you get into my predicament. He even gave me some advice for keeping my car door locks in good health. I was very happy with Robert's service and professionalism. I shopped around, and the price was pretty reasonable. Thanks, Chicago Locksmiths!

Lost the keys to my car a while back and had no spare available. I called around to a bunch of locksmiths as I was told they are typically cheaper than the dealership. I reached out a number of places and either they didn't provide auto locksmith service, couldn't program my car key, or charged close to the dealership price. Robert, from Chicago Locksmiths came out quickly and cut the blank key I had available and was able to get the key and remote programmed very quickly. The pricing was also very reasonable, less than HALF of what the dealership and other locksmiths were quoting. Also was concerned they wouldn't come by me as I live far north of the city but distance is not an issue for them as long as you're in Chicagoland. Can't recommend these guys enough. Highly recommend!!!

Several dealerships quoted me more for a key in three days, so this was a HUGE life saver. Looked like there was something in the lock. Took it to Chicago locksmiths and they sprayed some lubricant and the lock worked. The guys didn't hesitate one bit in looking at it and fixing it within a minute. Didn't charge me. Not even a hint of trying to make a buck off me. Just friendly and helping a neighbor. Said have a good day.

These guys are great. Paul took care of me when I went in for a replacement key for my motorcycle. Turns out my particular key is very specific and they couldn't make me a replacement BUT Paul went out of his way to research it and educate me on what made that key so difficult to make and he offered me some good advice on what to do from there. So, regardless of the outcome, their customer service is tremendous. I had a couple of house keys duplicated while I was there and Paul, being kind and also feeling bummed that he couldn't help me more, wouldn't accept my money. This is the kind of business worth going to. And you can take a photo with the Robin Williams mural right across the street while you're there.

I am a neighabor and stopped by to get a few keys made for our new home. We bought a new construction place from a Polish developer who used only Eastern European finishes - pretty finishes but hard to find places to make key copies for these unique doors!! Chicago Locksmith and Garrett specifically helped me out and was incredibly friendly through the process. I came by on a Saturday morning and there was no wait. 10/10 would recommend!

I needed to fix/replace a multi-point lock and re-key a deadbolt. Johnathan was dispatched onsite in a very timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. A gentleman named Stephen worked on my issue as well, who was also great to work with. They were able to repair my multi-point lock without having to replace the whole thing, and saved me some money. I would definitely use again, and highly recommend.
