We replaced a non-compliant narrow style hook bolt with a high security, Grade 1 Adams Rite 8400 Exit Device; as well as correcting the previously poorly installed door closer. This service had to be performed in order to keep the door in compliance with local safety standards. We utilized many of the doors existing prep in order to install our high quality dead latches and exit devices, as well as repairing the door closer. Now the door shuts properly and is compliant with all local Chicago fire codes!
